Entering the world of boxing at the age of 5, Shane emerged as a talented boxer, securing an impressive collection of 6 National
Titles and earning a silver medal at the Goodwill Games in
Russia. After a successful 14-year amateur career, he transitioned to the professional arena where he competed for several years and concluded
his boxing career as the #14 ranked boxer worldwide. In March of 2023, Shane was inducted into the Colorado Golden Gloves Hall of Fame. Shane's legacy extends
beyond the boxing ring, encompassing a remarkable 27 years of dedication to the
sport. Having gained invaluable insights and skills through countless
bouts, he now channels his passion into coaching, sharing his wealth of
knowledge. Shane's commitment to the art
of boxing is not just a personal triumph, but a testament to his continued influence, shaping the next generation of boxers with a blend of expertise and passion. Following a successful fight with throat cancer in 2019, Shane developed a strong commitment to giving back, especially to those confronting the challenges posed by cancer and other
life-altering adversities. This vision finds its realization in the
Knockout Cancer Boxing Gym, which embodiment Shane's purpose and overarching
goal.

Having boxed for over a decade (15 years), and dedicated to educating and guiding youth and adults for over two decades, Sarah brings experience
to the coaching arena as a boxer, educator and a Level I Boxing Official through USA Boxing. Along with this, she is a licensed therapist trained in physical
and therapeutic intervention. As a passionate
coach, Sarah strives to help boxers master the technical and mental intricacies of
the sport. She believes in empowering boxers to not only become physically strong and skilled but also well-rounded, confident individuals, capable of facing life's
challenges.. As a non-profit, the Knockout Cancer Boxing Club embraces a culture of philanthropy which makes it
an amazing place to train and coach.

Danielle
has trained and fought for the past 13 years as an amateur and professional
boxer. Recently retired, she continues to grow her experience in the ring and
in the corner, committed to supporting other fighters in their journey.
Danielle's coaching philosophy focuses on creating space for fighters to
master their craft, develop mental resilience, and
accomplish their goals.

Jamey's love of boxing started as a teen when he learned the basics of boxing in high school at a local gym in Fort Collins. Since that time, he has re-engaged in the sport with a desire to teach others the fundamentals while encouraging them to be the best that they can be as a person and athlete. Cris has been boxing for over a year and found his passion for the sport at the Knockout Cancer Boxing Club. Over the past year, Cris has become part of the KOCBC competition team where he aspires to compete as a Master's Level boxer. Cris's passion for the sport and desire to teach others is strong and evident when teaching individuals or group classes. |
